My Earliest memory
The earliest memory I recall
would be when I first saw myself in the mirror! The memory is clear and vivid
in the back of my mind. I think I was about six or seven years old at the time,
extremely short with sandy blonde hair and rosie red cheecks. Progessing in the
memory, I ran down a long hallway with a rather vibrant green carpet.
I hoped up onto my raggedy toilet
closed the squeaky door and stood up and starred at myself for 5 minutes! I had
a general idea of how I looked at the time because everyone would say I looked
like my dad. But when I had first laid eye’s on myself for the first time, I
thought.
“Do I really look like that!” Without any thought I began to make funny
faces and pose in front of the mirror for my best look. After a few minutes of
some new fun I got bored and began to make my way towards the home’s living
room.
Since I was
at such a young age I wasn’t the tallest of the bunch, so the angle I saw
everything at was much lower! As I waddled around the living room floor with
the sun just peaking up, shining through my glass pane. The warm sunlight felt
good splashing on my skin, it felt like it was some what giving me energy and
making me radiate! So with all this energy I waddled as fast as I could down my
green carpet to my garage door.
As I
entered my garage way entrance I noticed my sister was walking up to her school
bus, so being the curious fellow I am ran up to her and looked around. I got a glimpse of my neighborhood at the
time and it was something that looked like it was from the fifties! Most of the
houses had this similar look to them. My
sister then entered the bus, after she left my dad came behind me and patted me
and the back and I ran back inside. This is the last of what I remember during
my first memory, who knows it could just be a dream I had one time that was
very realistic? Nobody will ever know!
